Enerfy Global, a web platform poised to help how companies analyze driving data for their fleets.
Our project's goal was to design and develop a tool allowing companies to communicate effectively with their drivers, ultimately enhancing driving behaviour.
At the core of the tool lies the capability for companies to send various types of messages tailored to their drivers needs. These messages serve as supportive and motivational prompts, aimed at encourage safer and more proficient driving habits among their drivers.
Companies can proactively engage with their drivers, providing real-time guidance and encouragement, and help reduce risk of crashing.

Greater Than is a driving data analytics company that specializes in understanding driver impact on the roads. Through the power of artificial intelligence (AI), Greater Than converts GPS data into driver scores that predict crash probability and climate impact.
The scores can be further enhanced with additional intelligence including an analytics dashboard, prevention tool, and summary reports.
Insurance companies, underwriters, fleet solution providers, mobility providers and other owners of GPS data use
Greater Than’s analysis to optimize driver risk management, achieve insurance profitability, manage sustainability & ESG reporting, and monetize GPS data.

In this project, my role was to design the Communication tool, both UX & UI wise.
This involved conducting user research to understand users, crafting UX flows for navigation/features, and designing a new interface.
With help from user insights and iterative design, I helped create a tool that would help Greater Than's customers communicate with their drivers.

Understanding The User
CSN's primary target audience is students between the ages of 19-60. However, if the target audience were to be narrowed down, the focus would primarily be on the 19-30 age group, since the majority of students fall within that age range.
Additionally, it's important to consider that younger generations tend to use mobile apps more frequently than websites, while the older generation is more likely to use websites.

Interviews
I Interviewed Five individuals regarding their experiences with CSN's app and website. All participants had the same opinion that CSN's app was outdated and had the feeling it hadn't been updated for over 20 years, making it unappealing to use.
As a result, none of the participants had used the app within the past month and the majority preferred to use CSN's website instead, which they found to be more modern and user-friendly.

Based on the research, I found that CSN users require convenient access to their loan and payment details, as they prefer to stay updated and informed about their financial status.
To address this need, I gave priority to developing features that offer easy and quick accessibility to the required information, ensuring a hassle-free and informed experience for the users.

From the insights of my User research and mapping of the most
important features, I formed the user flow and User Interface for the app.
I created several Low and High-fidelity wireframes/prototypes of the product designs.

Validation
Using high-fidelity designs, I developed a clickable prototype and conducted user testing with 7 users.
All users successfully completed the tasks, and expressed happiness about the design.
Testing also revealed areas for improvement, informing for future adjustments to enhance user experience. This iterative process helped my commitment to improve current design through thorough testing and refinement.

Challenges
One of the primary challenges I faced in this project was realizing the difficulty of doing a UX project alone. To cover all aspects of the process, discuss new ideas and see new perspectives.
With my goal that was not only to create a successful project, but also to improve my own skills and knowledge in UX design, I still believe it was a good experience of doing a project alone.
